December 6th

My poster is about the montreal masacure that happend 20 years ago. It did look different at first, but then I changed it. I put the pictures of the 14 victoms that were killed, all of which were women. I chose to do this topic because I'm very Interested in ending violence against women, and womens issues. iI put the white ribbon campain at teh bottom of the poster, just to raise alittle awarness about the campaign, which is a campaign started by men. Men ending violence against women (women can too) has a bit of a ring to it. I like it.

Its the same group as before, Jodi, Duncan, and myself. (Julie) and the same concept-our designs is also what the word is. This one was abit easier, because we did our other poster first, so we knew what to do.

Elements and Pricipals of Design Poster Set

So in my group was Jodi, Ducan, of myself, Julie. we did our designs based on the words and definitions. It was pretty fustrating at times, but after I got the hang of things, it got easier. And it got even easier when our third group member, Jodi, actually started to contribute. hahah.... yup, I guess me getting sick, and ducan leaving the country was just the kick that Jo needed.

Vector Assignment

I chose to do kiwis. I gotta say, I love the fruit. Anyway, I did a traced one with no colour, then a free hand in black and white, and another one, but this time in colour. I uesd the pen tool, the paintbrush, and various colours. I would have to say, my favorite kiwi is the coloured one. I like how I did the different colours and the shadows; my lights and my darks. In my opinion, I think it turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself. (not to seem boastful)I'm not gonna lie, It was abit hard in the begining, but after a while I got the hang of things. And overall, I think they came out pretty well, and I enjoyed doing them.

well houestly, I'm not really trying to express anything. the headphones in the picture just really says i like music, but thats about it. I didn't acually write any words or sentences, just really abunch of random letters, and brackets. the sizes of the letters vary, depending on where it is. like around my eye area, the letters are abit smaller (because i didn't want my eyes looking huge) and my headphone strings (which im not sure you could see) the letters are smaller so it would look more like, well headphone strings. I coloured in my eyes to look like eyes, because lets face it, it would look preatty scary without them. but I'm not expressing anything, and theres no words or sentences. Just a happy smile. Plain and simple.
